Baldwin is in Rome filming two live-actions, Kid Santa and Billie’s Magic Word, which are produced by Minerva Pictures in collaboration with ILBE.

He is teaming up for the first time with his brother, William Baldwin, for the two films.

Baldwin has not been on a film set since a revolver that he was rehearsing with during the filming of Rust in New Mexico fired a live round that fatally hit Hutchins and injured movie director Joel Souza, who survived.

Baldwin has been named in several lawsuits since Hutchins’s death, including a wrongful-death lawsuit filed by Hutchins’s family last month that accused Baldwin and the film’s producers of reckless conduct and cutting costs, which endangered safety.

Earlier this month, lawyers for Baldwin filed an arbitration demand against other producers of Rust.

The filing reportedly claims that Baldwin is not liable for the death of Hutchins, and argues that it was not Baldwin’s responsibility to determine if the gun had live rounds in it.
