The final destination of the excursion was Pangallo Estate, where owners Lyn and Mike Pangallo received the travellers with cordial hospitality, making everyone feel at home.
The scope of the excursion was also to pick grapes, in particular zibibbo, a kind of muscat grape, which this year is of fantastic quality.
Having passed some hours in the open countryside, in contact with nature, the travellers ate a BBQ lunch, prepared by the volunteers, which offered the participants the opportunity to socialise and exchange points of view on their circumstances.
At Pangallo Estate, besides grapes, it is possible to purchase wine, olive oil, figs and other fruits of the season.
Returning home, satisfied by the great organisation of the tour, the travellers thanked the organisers, asking them to plan more initiatives of this type which offer the possibility to meet new people, and thereby, overcoming the isolation which can be experienced by many.
