With both teams wanting a win to keep in touch with South Melbourne, everything was on the line.
Oakleigh scored first in the 29th minute from a penalty and the score remained 1-0 at half time.
The second half started exactly how The Avengers needed it to, with Trajceski scoring in the 52nd minute to make it 1-1.
Courtney-Perkins came on as a sub and kicked Avondale into the lead in the 74th minute before Cuba scored in the 87th to make a win seem inevitable.
However, you need to play right to the final whistle.
Oakleigh scored in the 89th minute and again with the last kick of the game in the 7th minute of stoppage time to make it 3-3.
The men are at home this Saturday against Dandenong Thunder.
The Senior Women played at home against Clifton Hill in a first vs third clash.
The Avengers scored two in the first half to make it 2-0 at half time thanks to two goals from Hubeek.
The second half saw Hubeek complete her hattrick as Clifton Hill got one back to make it interesting, however the score finished 3-1.
The Avondale women keep their bid to complete a perfect season alive and will look to continue that form away to Fawkner this Sunday.
