The central-Italian club have spent over six times what they’ve received in transfers. As impressive as that may sound, they’ve only actually sold one player, for 3 million euros.
A total of 30 players have left the club (eight on loan), while six have come in.
They’ve spent 9 million euros on AZ Alkmaar’s Sam Beukema and 5 million of Hoffenheim’s Stefan Posch.
Il Globo verdict: Not the most exciting transfer window, but perhaps that’s to be expected for a midtable club with no European football. The club has barely received any money for players, so they’re limited by Financial Fair Play rules.
Prediction: 12th-15th, not looking good.
