Brescia had slights less of the ball and created six chances to the away side’s seven. Brescia only managed three shots on target for the whole game, but they all went in.

The home team took the lead eight minutes before the break when Gabriele Moncini finished off a swift counterattack that started from near Brescia’s own defensive box.

Flavio Junior Bianchi doubled Brescia’s lead ten minutes after the break when he turned his man in the box and fired into the roof of the net.

Moncini has his brace in the 85th minute, using his pace to break away from the Pisa defence before beating the keeper with a low shot.

Ernesto Torregrossa scored a consolation goal for Pisa in added time with a penalty awarded for a foul. Torregrossa’s shot should have been saved, but somehow went underneath the keeper.

Brescia sit seventh on the table. Pisa are tenth, both four points short of the promotion playoffs and five points clear of the relegation playoffs.
