The incident took place when an attic fell in during the banquet at Giaccherino.
Six people were hospitalised in code red but are not in a life-threatening condition, medical sources said.
Among those hospitalised were the newly-weds.
The ceiling of the venue - a former convent - where the wedding party was taking place reportedly came down while some of the participants were dancing.
“It could have been a terrible tragedy”, said Tuscany Governor Eugenio Giani, who thanked the impressive rescue machine that arrived on the scene.
“We were very scared,” said the couple, Paolo and Valeria, after being discharged from the ER shortly before midnight.
