The man migrated to Australia with his wife and four children around a year ago, facing the normal challenges that all new arrivals are confronted with, such as the language barrier and finding work in a new land.
But after seven months in his new home, the man faced a much larger obstacle: he became ill and lost his job as a result.
Over the past five months, he has been forced into debt in order to provide for his family.
CO.AS.IT. has done all it can to help the man and is now turning to the generous members of the Italian community in Australia for further assistance to help the family pay off an urgent debt of $300.
