The visitors took the lead in under seven minutes when Andrea Rispoli’s cutback was sent into the top corner by Idriz Voca.
Four minutes before halftime, Pisa’s Tommaso Barbieri received a second yellow card for a needless foul.
The game didn’t see another goal for 88 minutes, but in the fourth minute of added time Pisa got their equaliser through Gaetano Masucci who finished from close range with a shot on the turn.
Amazingly, there was more to come. In the eighth minute of added time, Cosenza took all three points when Simone Mazzocchi headed in a corner.
