Cosenza had 54 per cent of the ball and created eight chances to Sudtirol’s five.
Cosenza went ahead in under ten minutes when Michael Venturi, with his back to goal, got a foot on an inward-swinging cross by Manuel Marras. The ball miraculously looped over the goalkeeper and into the top-left corner.
It took the visitors until the 66th minute to equalise. Riccardo Ciervo carried the ball down the wing before crossing to Daniele Casiraghi who smashed it home first time.
Sudtirol went ahead nine minutes later when another Ciervo cross found Raphael Odogwu in the box. The striker didn’t make perfect connection, but it was enough as the ball slowly bobbled into the net.
In the ninth minute of added time Simone Mazzocchi got on the end of a cross by Baldovino Cimono, heading the ball into the ground and causing it to bounce into the top corner.
Sudtirol sit in sixth while Cosenza find themselves midtable.
