Funny Little Fears is the title of the first solo album by David, who is on a break from the world beating Roman rock band.
The album, which will be released by Sony Music Italy/Epic Records in physical and digital format in the double CD and vinyl version, is composed of 14 tracks.
The new recording project began with the theatricality of Silverlines (produced by Labrinth), continued with the energy of Born With a Broken Heart and with the intensity of the latest single Next Summer.
The three are very different songs that highlight the versatility of the artist and give the public a taste of the album.
“I’ve always been afraid of heights, of the fact that at any moment the ground will split beneath my feet and in a second everything will disappear,” wrote David in a message to listeners.
“I’ve been afraid of the darkness, an immensity that I can’t see or understand, that could drag me down if I didn’t pay attention where I put my feet.
“I’ve been afraid of myself, of asking for too much, of chasing something that I didn’t even know if I really wanted.
“And honestly sometimes I’m still afraid, but I wrote myself a manual.
“I hope you find it useful too. I called it Funny Little Fears. With love, Damiano.”
Meanwhile, the anticipation is growing for the World Tour 2025 that will see Damiano busy with over 30 dates in Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Asia.
David will perform at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday, October 22, before playing at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne on Friday, October 24.
