The visitors had 59 per cent of the ball and created 12 chances to FeralpiSalo’s seven, of which only the goal was on target.

Modena were ahead in under two minutes when Diego Falcinelli headed the ball into an empty next after getting on the end of an unconvincing punch by FeralpiSalo goalkeeper Semuel Pizzignacco.

Seven minutes later and the home team equalised through Davide Balestrero, who volleyed Gaetano Letizia’s cross into the bottom corner of the net.

Modena currently sit in fourth on the table with ten points from their opening four games.
