The video dates back to a conference in 2019, two years before Turin prosecutors opened the probe into alleged balance-sheet irregularities in which ex-chairman Andrea Agnelli and other former executives are probed and which has led to Juve being deducted 15 points in Serie A this season.
The prosecutor at the centre of the row, Ciro Santoriello, had requested the shelving of a previous case relating to 2015 and 2016 in which Agnelli was among five people under investigation.
"I admit that I am a big Napoli fan and I hate Juventus," Santoriello said in the video.
"As a fan, the important thing is Napoli.
"As a prosecutor I am obviously anti-Juventus, against the thieves on the pitch, and (yet) I had to write case dismissed".
Not surprisingly, the revelation has resulted in major debate on social media, with the Italian sports minister Andrea Abodi moved to take action.
He has confirmed that he has taken note of the event and reported it to the appropriate authorities.
Juventus have already been deducted 15 points due to the capital gains trial, but the club is now facing further punishment through the Prisma investigation.
