The club has lost loanee Samuele Mulattieri who scored 12 goals for them during their Serie B campaign last season. The club had the option to buy Mulattieri and were keen to do so, however Inter Milan, his parent club, triggered a buy-back clause because they knew they could sell him for more money than the Frosinone deal would produce.
They also sold midfielder Daniel Boloca to Sassuolo for 10 million euros.
The most notable signings are Abdou Harroui and Riccardo Marchizza, both from Sassuolo as part of an elaborate deal with several parts. They also signed Simone Romagnoli who made two Serie A appearances last season for Lecce. Marco Brescianini, who played for Cosenza last season, has also joined for an undisclosed fee.
Il Globo verdict: The bulk of last season’s Serie B title winning side remains, with a few notable tweaks to the squad. This is one of the harder seasons to predict, but given everything that happened last season, Il Globo is going to give Frosinone the benefit of the doubt.
Prediction: 12th -15th.
