Guests are invited to bring a picnic rug and their furry friends (dogs must be kept on a lead at all times) and settle in for an afternoon of entertainment.
There will be food trucks selling Italian fare, such as pizza, pasta, gelato, and cheese, comedic jesters, a cocktail stand and bakery stall, free caricatures, giant games for the kids and photo magnet mementos.
There will be also be live music, with a particular emphasis on accordion musicians.
The accordion (in Italian, the fisarmonica) has long been a feature of traditional Italian folk music, as well as an accompaniment to certain dances such as the saltarello and the tarantella.
Punters can expect some lively tunes with the possible accompaniment of other traditional instruments such as the mandolin, guitar or tambourine.
