On April 28 the new president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Melbourne was elected following the untimely resignation of Lou Farinotti due to health reasons.

Adrian Logiudice has begun his new term with optimism and a desire to support the Italian-Australian economy.

Born in Melbourne to Sicilian parents, Logiudice has an older brother, Fabio.

His father arrived in Australia after WWII and during one of his trips to Italy to visit family, met his future wife.

After marriage, they decided to move to Australia to start a new chapter in their lives.

Sam Logiudice was a builder, so for Adrian and Fabio it was a natural decision to follow in their father's footsteps.

In 1992, Logiudice founded the construction firm Teren Group, which he continues to run with his brother.

Logiudice feels deeply connected to his parents’ country of birth. His parents always tried to pass on traditions to their children, despite the distance from Italy.

Before the pandemic he would travel to Italy on a regular basis in order to get to know it better.

As he speaks, one senses the affection for the family bond that has never left him.

Present in his thoughts and words are also his children, Alyssa, Samuel and Jada.

It is precisely his love for them that led him to embark on a new project, the creation of Me, a digital platform aimed at people's psychophysical well-being.

Born out of his desire to support and inspire his own children during their last year of high school, Logiudice soon sensed that this platform could be useful to many other people who, like everyone else, were faced with the pressures of modern life.

Over the years, the entrepreneur always admired the activities organised by the Chamber of Commerce, thanks in part to the involvement of then-president and friend Luca Scribani Rossi, who has always been a role model.

Logiudice became increasingly involved and present in the Chamber's initiatives and activities.

In 2021 he joined the committee and now takes over its leadership.

“Unfortunately, Farinotti did not have the opportunity to continue all the beautiful projects he had conceived together with the managing director, Veronica Misciattelli,” Logiudice said. “I, however, will try not only to continue them, but also to ensure that the Chamber can improve and continue to expand more and more.”

“I would like to make sure that we support not only large businesses, but also and especially small businesses, which are often the ones that need the most help in facing the challenges that the global world presents today.

“Finally, I would like to try to involve the younger generation. I firmly believe that there are so many talented young people, both Australian and Italian, who are slowly making their way to assert their talents."
