The news of Milva’s next Australian tour has provoked mixed emotions among the Italian community: excitement among fans of pop music and the “Panther of Goro”, as she’s known; resentment and disappointment among some over her failed visit a few years ago; and indifference among those who aren’t music lovers.
The organisers of this tour – Roma Enterprise, established by the Gattuso family – have assured the Italian community in Australia that they won’t miss out on seeing Milva this time around.
Roma Enterprise would like to clarify that they were not responsible for Milva’s earlier failed tour, which didn’t go ahead as the company in question failed to comply with the financial commitments as stipulated in the contract.
Milva will perform in Perth on Thursday, December 9, then at the Thebarton Town Hall, in Adelaide, on Friday, December 10.
On Saturday, December 11, she will grace the stage at Melbourne’s Festival Hall, and on Sunday, December 12, she’ll perform her final leg of the tour in Sydney.
