The latest edition of RisiKo!, the Italian version of the world-conquest board game Risk, has omitted Sardinia from its map, sparking protests from the island off the west coast of Italy.

Sardinia had already suffered such omissions from some middle school textbooks and national and international magazines.
Sardinian authorities have now written to Spin Master and Editrice Giochi, which publish and distribute the popular strategy game, to amend the omission.
