The home team took the lead just after the half hour mark when Santiago Giminez turned his marker in the box and cooly slotted the ball into the bottom-left corner.

Ramiz Zerrouki made it 2-0 just before half time when he finished an excellent layup pass from Quinten Timber, curling the ball into the side netting from just inside the box.

Giminez all but sealed the points for Feyenoord in the 74th minute when some good team play forced a save out of Ivan Provedel, but he parried straight into the waiting feet of the Argentine.

Pedro got one back for Lazo with seven minutes remaining when he scored a penalty awarded for a foul in the box.

Feyenoord are top of the group with six points, two points more than Lazio.
