The home team had 47 per cent possession and created 12 chances to Parma’s 11.

Parma took the lead in the 12th minute when Adrian Benedyczak slotted home a penalty awarded for a foul on Ange Bonny.

Andrija Novakovich equalised for Lecco soon after with a finish from close range after the ball was headed down to him.

The struggling side took the lead just before half time when Nicolo Buso was at the back post to finish Alessandro Caporale’s flick on.

Franco Lepore scored a third for Lecco in the 57th minute with a diving header from Buso’s cross.

Parma got one back with 20 minutes remaining through Gabriel Charpentier who was put through on goal by a wonder ball from Adrian Bernabe before blasting past the keeper.

Parma remain on top of the table while Lecco are 17th.
