The theme of the competition is “Vivere all’Italiana... your own way!” which aims to address the ever-relevant question: What does “living the Italian way” mean to you?

The project seeks to collect new visions and perspectives on the concept of “living the Italian way” from every corner of the world.

It’s aimed at Italian citizens, and anyone else living overseas.

You do not need to have even lived or been to Italy to participate.

Zooppa suggests thinking beyond the usual themes related to being Italian, such as fashion, cooking and art, and getting really creative.

“We’d love to hear about the excellence of Made in Italy,” Zoopa said in a statement.

“But, with your history; we would like to discover something more”.

All participants should make a video lasting between 40 seconds to two minutes, presenting what the “Italian way” is for you.

The videos can use interviews, reportages, mini-documentaries or other narrative techniques to explore the theme through images, sounds or words.

The top six contestants will be awarded prizes totalling €15,000, and the best videos will be re-launched on the institutional channels of the ministry and the diplomatic-consular network.

The deadline for video submission is set for February 12, at 3:00 pm.

“We do not want to give you rules or guidelines, because we want to know your emotions and your point of view,” Zoopa emphasised.

So get creative!
