Italian rock band Måneskin celebrated the release of their third album, ‘Rush!’ by 'getting married' in a ceremony at Rome's Palazzo Bancaccio on Thursday.
The four band members vowed to "to be faithful to each other always, in joy and in pain, in love and in honour", every day of their lives, during the ceremony that was presided over by former Gucci artistic director Alessandro Michele.
Bass player Victoria De Angelis and drummer Ethan Torchio were dressed as brides, while lead singer Damiano David and guitarist Thomas Raggi were kitted out as grooms.
The band, who first skyrocketed to fame in Italy by competing on X Factor, have enjoyed major international success since winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021.
Directors Baz Luhrmann and Paolo Sorrentino and AS Roma and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala were among the illustrious guests at the event.
‘Rush!’ was released on January 20, 2023 through Epic Records. The album was preceded by the singles ‘Mammamia’, ‘Supermodel’, ‘The Loneliest’ and most recently, ‘Gossip’, a collaboration with guitarist Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine fame.
