The legendary left foot of the late footballing genius Diego Maradona has been immortalised by a local artist in Naples.

The sculpture is located in the Scampia district of the Southern Italian city where Maradona led his team to multiple victories in the 1980s and 1990s.
Chairman of the Napoli football club, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has had a limited edition copy made.
The work was created by local sculptor, Stefano Ceci.
The foot is the latest in a series of public events related to Maradona – the shirt the soccer player wore for his ‘Hand of God’ moment recently sold for a record price at auction.
