“The talks focused on the post-flood situation that has hit the territories of Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna and Forlì-Cesena,” Palazzo Chigi said in a statement.

“Meloni and Bonaccini also discussed the issue of the use of Cohesion and Development Fund resources,” continued the statement.

“The prime minister confirmed her full availability to define in the next few days the modalities of resource allocation, reiterating the positive progress made in the work between the Ministry for Cohesion Policies and the Emilia-Romagna region.”
