She is travelling with the four other Australian “queens”, who together raised more than $10,000 in the Miss Victoria contest.
The girls departed from Tullamarine airport on January 14, flying direct to Kuala Lumpur.
They will also visit Hong Kong, Bangkok and Penang before returning to Melbourne on January 27.
In the middle of the year, Ferrigno will embark on another – much longer – trip to Europe as part of her prize.
When she returns, she will hand over the crown to the new Miss Italian Community, who will be named in October.
