The club has called a meeting to elect the committee and has already purchased a property for its headquarters, at 95 Atherton Road, Oakleigh.
The property needs some work and alterations to become a suitable headquarters, but the enterprising directors of the new club are determined to raise the necessary funds by issuing shares.
The building is also home to the Oakleigh Soccer Club, allowing the new club to be central to the suburb’s social and cultural activities.
The committee formed as a result of the recent election is as follows: G. Carbonaro, A. Marcocchi, B. Quinto, N. Assetta, G. Igini, A. Papasergio, D. Palleschi and A. Lopez.
