The NSW health department confirmed that a 75-year-old man died at Wollongong Hospital overnight.

He was a passenger onboard the Ovation of the Seas cruise ship.

It was earlier confirmed that a 74-year-old woman had died at the Albury Base Hospital overnight.

NSW recorded 91 new cases overnight, with 2389 infections across the state, including two radiation therapists from Sydney’s Westmead Hospital.

Eighty-four coronavirus cases are linked Ovation of the Seas which docked on March 18, 34 are linked to the Voyager of the Seas cruise ship, and 12 are linked to the Celebrity Solstice which docked on March 19.

There are also 342 cases from the doomed Ruby Princess cruise ship, which docked on March 19, including nine crew members.

Forty-two people in NSW are currently being treated in intensive care units, with 22 on ventilators.
