The state now has 2963 confirmed cases of the virus.

There has been one death in the state in the past 24 hours – a 94-year-old man from the Newmarch House aged care facility in western Sydney.

There are two additional cases of coronavirus at the facility, taking the total to 41 including 14 staff.

More than 3500 people across NSW were tested for the virus on Sunday, a number that has “pleased” Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

The premier this morning announced $140 million funding will be injected into primary industries such as agriculture, forestry, especially in the communities heavily impacted by the bushfires.

There are 22 people in intensive care units across NSW, with 15 requiring ventilators.

The state’s death toll stands at 30.
