“Peace with Palestine is possible, but not with Hamas. Never with Hamas,” Nadav Kipnis, son of Eviatar and Lilach, the Italian-Israeli couple kidnapped from the kibbutz of Be’er in the attack and later killed by Hamas, told ANSA.

“First of all, I would like to say that the two Israeli-American women who were released are two distant relatives of mine,” Kipnis went on.

“And I’m happy for them, but I want to say that these images that are going around (in which a released hostage shakes hands with a kidnapper and says ‘shalom’) could be fake.

“Since they have killed, kidnapped and raped people, we cannot expect them to be so generous.”

A third and last missing Italian-Israeli, 29-year-old Nir Forti, was also killed by Hamas, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Monday night.
