Using more offensive tactics than predecessor Jose Mourinho, De Rossi has moved the Giallorossi up from ninth to sixth place and back in contention for a spot in Europe.
Roma’s only loss under De Rossi was a wild 4-2 defeat to Italian leaders Inter Milan last weekend.
Roma took the lead late in the first half on Monday (AEDT) when 18-year-old centre back Dean Huijsen took the ball in midfield and showed off some fancy dribbling skills before unleashing a long shot into the top corner.
Huijsen, who is on loan from Juventus, had initially planned to join Frosinone before Roma called last month.
Midway through the second half, Sardar Azmoun doubled the advantage by turning in a rebound of a shot from Bryan Cristante.
Leandro Paredes then converted a late penalty after a handball was called on a shot from Tommaso Baldanzi.
Frosinone remain three points clear of the relegation zone.
