Banca BPER, the A2a group and Tim, were among the private organisations targeted by the hackers, who claimed the action on their Telegram profiles.
The Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Agriculture have also come under attack, as well as the goverment's identity card portal and the Carabinieri.
The Ddos-type attack, where the hacker tries to exploit the weakness of HTTP servers by sending a large amount of partial HTTP requests, started Tuesday to purposely coincide with Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni's visit to Kyiv.
"Italy will provide Ukraine with its sixth military assistance package," they wrote on their channels, citing Meloni's press conference, and added, "we will continue our fascinating journey through Russophobic Italy."
