Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Joseph Calafati.
Mr Calafati is a member of the Italian community in Melbourne, and police are seeking assistance from anyone within the community who may know his whereabouts.
The 82-year-old was last seen in Pickett Street, Footscray, at around 8:15 pm on Thursday, January 10.
He was wearing a blue polo shirt and navy track pants when last sighted.
Police and family have concerns for Mr Calafati’s welfare due to his age.
Police have released an image of Mr Calafati in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information which could be of assistance.
Anyone who has seen Mr Calafati or who has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Footscray Police Station on (03) 8398 9800.
