“I said we are a country with an industrial vocation but also agricultural vocation,” Tajani told a press conference.
“So it is indispensable to carry out a fight against climate change also by helping businesses to travel a path towards the ecological transition,” said Tajani.
“Starting with goals that can be reachable in order to avoid delocalisation, which would be damaging also in the fight against climate change.”
Tajani stressed the importance of “working more on the climate with China and Africa”.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will meet President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace Tuesday afternoon, the French presidency said Monday.
Meloni will be in Paris to promote Rome’s bid for Expo 2030.
