Panzerotti are an Apulian specialty, served hot, filled with tomatoes and mozzarella.

Last month, the Cinema, Cibo e Cultura Pugliese event was sold out, with a dinner of focaccia farcita and bocconcini pugliese served.

Focaccia farcita is stuffed usually with prosciutto and mozzarella.

Vannella Cheese donated the delicious bocconcini and Luigi Carrieri of Dulwich Hill Hot Bread Shop made the delicious hot focaccia.

Volunteers who made the evening special included Giulia Carelli, Nicla Di Monte, Teresa Miranda and Pasqua De Candia.

The panzerotti dinner is the final of five Cinema, Cibo e Cultura Pugliese autumn-winter monthly events which were held in Sydney this year.

The event will commence on Sunday, September 29 at 4:30 pm at the Puglia Club, 65 Renwick St, Leichhardt, with an Italian film to be screened prior to the meal.
