A very important moment in the history of UNSI is approaching, an occasion that will be celebrated with a traditional rich lunch.

The event will be on Sunday, February 25 at 12pm and as happens every year, important members of the Italian-Australian community will also take part.

The event will be hosted at the Maiella Club in Thomastown and will not only serve to honour the history of Unsi, but also to give its members and their friends the opportunity to spend a wonderful afternoon together.

The anniversary celebration will be one of the first meetings of UNSI after the long summer and Christmas break.

Attendees will enjoy a delicious Italian-style lunch and will be entertained by Tony D’Amico’s band, who aim to woo them to the dance floor. At the end of the day, there will also be a raffle with a bunch of generous prizes.

Among the participants and in addition to members and representatives of the various clubs and associations, there will be important figures from the Italian Embassy, Consulate and possibly even a representative of the Italian Presidency.

The president of the UNSI, Joe Morizzi, invites all interested parties to confirm their participation well in advance.
