Meloni stressed, among other things, that, “we must also be aware that we are not forgiven anything and we will not be forgiven anything.
“When our rivals found nothing to attack, they were forced to entirely fabricate fake news.
“And when someone slipped up, they used every tool available to strike us.
“We have always been our most implacable judges, and we must continue to do so, because the historic occasion that citizens have given us doesn’t deserve to be wasted for a mistake, a distraction or a flaw.
“We cannot afford to make ourselves vulnerable,” noted the PM.
