CPAC Italian Film Series

Film lovers rejoice! Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC) in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Sydney has announced the return of their FREE monthly Italian Film Series. The first two screenings kick off the series by celebrating 100 years of legendary director Frederico Fellini. Considered Italy’s most pioneering and popular director, Fellini garnered countless awards and accolades in his time. The year 2020 marks what would have been Fellini’s 100th birthday, so to celebrate the Italian Film Series begins with the lauded La Dolce Vita (Tues June 23) before a screening of his most iconic and sardonic film, I Vitelloni (Tues July 21). Contemporary Italian cinema will also feature as a part of series with 2009’s rom-com Dieci Inverni (Tues Aug 25) also screening. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, for the time being the Italian Film Series will be screened online with bookings essential.
