The unstoppable Gianmarco Tamberi has done it again.
In the Zurich final, the Olympic and European gold medalist cemented himself as a Diamond League champion in the high jump, taking the diamond for the second year in a row, again with a measurement of 2.34 metres, his season's best performance, at the last competition of the year.
He beat American JuVaughn Harrison who had overtaken him with 2.32 metres in the first round.
The US athlete came second with 2.34 metres, but with one more error than Tamberi.
It was another show of infinite class for Gimbo, and in celebration, he knelt before his wife Chiara Bontempi and gave her the winner's bouquet of flowers.
