What devices can I use to watch IL GLOBO TV?

Android TV

Available on most Android TVs and Android TV boxes. Android version 7.0

Amazon Fire TV

Available on most Amazon Fire TV boxes. Android version 7.0

Google TV

Visit the Google Play store and download the Il Globo TV app. Android version 7.0

Apple TV

Requires tvOS 12.0 or later. 

Foxtel Now

If you have an existing Foxtel Go device, go to the Google Play store.

Phones and Tablets

iPhone

  • Requires iOS 12.0 or later.

iPad

  • Requires iPadOS 12.0 or later.

iPod touch

  • Requires iOS 12.0 or later.

Android phones and tablets

  • All Android devices using Android 7 or above

PC and MAC

  • Windows devices running Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or above
  • Mac, requires macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip or later.

Chromecast or Airplay

Stream Il Globo TV through Google Chromecast or your Apple TV via AirPlay.

If using Chromecast, simply navigate to the Chromecast icon on top-right corner of the screen in the Il Globo TV app. For AirPlay, the AirPlay icon will appear on the bottom-right of the screen.

Note: You’ll need to be on the same WiFi network as your Chromecast device or Apple TV.

Can I watch it on different devices?

Yes, one account allows you to use it on all compatible devices.

What quality are the programs?

  • Live channels: La7, Mediaset Italia, RAI channels are in HD
  • Other channels are a mixture of HD and SD.

DO I NEED THE INTERNET TO USE THE TV?

Yes, internet access is required.

HOW MUCH BANDWIDTH WILL I USE?

An average HD 1 Hour movie will consume a bandwidth of about 1Gb.

What happens If I don’t want to subscribe anymore?

Im travelling outside my home country, can I still see the programs?

Due to contractual obligations, many programs and channels will not work outside of the country you subscribed in.

How do I access invoices?

How do I cancel the subscription?

Simply login to your account here https://ilglobo.com/dashboard/ and click on change plan.

When is the cancellation effective from?

Once you cancel your subscription you subscription will not be renewed.

You will continue to have access until the end of the current subscription period. 

For monthly subscribers this could be up to 30 days.  For annual subscribers it will be up until the end of the current subscription period.

Can I get a refund for unused portion of a subscription?

No, please review the terms and use of your subscription you agreed to when you purchased your subscription.

What to do when Amazon shows Il Globo TV is unavailable

Here are some instructions to edit your location settings.

  1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and click the Preferences tab.
  2. Under Country Settings, click Change.
  3. Select or enter your address, and then click Update.

Update the Software on Your Fire TV

  1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
  2. Select My Fire TV.
  3. Select About.
  4. Select Check for System Update.
