EVENTBRITE OR PAOLO@COASIT.COM.AU Born in Matera (Italy) in 2000, Daklen Difato has been nominated Alfiere della Repubblica by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, and Eccellenza italiana by the Italian Ministry of Education. Despite his young age, Daklen is well known around the world, having performed piano recitals in many prestigious institutions, including the Italian Embassy in Washington D.C. (USA), the Edinburgh College of Art (UK), the Reial Cercle Artistic de Barcelona (Spain), the Centre des Musiques Arabes et Méditerranées (Tunisia), the Musikalische Schätze im Schloss Wolfsburg (Germany), the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, the Salle Molière de Lyon (France). Daklen has been invited to perform on national and private TV programs, as well as on the Vatican Radio station. At the age of 13, he earned a 10th year Diploma in piano cum laude and Honourable Mention from the Conservatory “E. R. Duni” in Matera (Italy). Daklen is currently studying with Maestro Alessandro Deljavan.
