He received his first appointment as Consul in 2000 at the Consulate of Italy in Edmonton (Canada). From 2004 till 2008 he managed the Commercial office of the Italian Embassy in Cyprus. In 2008 he served a two year term at the Directorate General for European countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from 2010 he was in charge of organizing international events and global summits at the Diplomatic Protocol Office. In 2013 he managed the commercial office of the Embassy of Italy in Tokyo and has been appointed as Consul General of Italy in Melbourne since September 4, 2017.
