The Architect's House as a Museum

Event by Editorial Team

Join us for this special talk by Professor Jaynie Anderson on how architects have developed their homes as museums. Drawing on her recently published book "Unconstrained Passions - the Architect’s House as a Museum", Anderson takes us on an erudite journey from the house museums of Renaissance Italy to contemporary Australia. Professor Anderson is one of Australia’s pre-eminent art historians and in 2015 Anderson received a knighthood from the President of the Republic of Italy for her research into Venetian Renaissance art. Her recent political biography, "The Life of Giovanni Morelli in Risorgimento Italy", will be discussed at a special launch in the library of the Italian Senate in Rome on 3 October 2022. Join us for refreshments following the talk. Ticket includes admission to the current exhibition Lyon Collection Exh. #5
