Avondale starting XI: Bennett, Claridge, Genitsaris (captain), Lamaj, Walsh, Schriven, Galluccio, Nishihara, Lines, Steiner, Okino

Goals: Lines 48’, Steiner 64’, Okino 74’

Bayside were out to avenge their earlier defeat at Avenger Park, but Avondale proved too strong across the 90 minutes, displaying discipline, composure and attacking intent throughout.

A standout on the day was Daniella Galluccio, who made her debut for the club in central midfield. She impressed with her ability to disrupt Bayside’s rhythm, showing maturity beyond her years and providing both energy and composure in a key role.

After a tight and evenly contested first half, Avondale took charge early in the second. In the 48th minute, a dangerous cross from Addison Steiner wasn’t dealt with by the Bayside defence, allowing Saphri Lines to volley home from close range to open the scoring.

The lead was doubled in the 64th minute when Steiner broke in behind the defence, rounded the goalkeeper and finished coolly into an empty net.

Avondale sealed the win in the 74th minute. A well-delivered corner from Saki Nishihara caused chaos in the box, and Kurea Okino reacted quickest, heading home to make it 3–0.

It was a composed and professional display from the Azzurre, who showed great control and resilience to secure all three points on the road.
