The Consul of Italy in Brisbane, Luna Angelini Marinucci, is pleased to invite the community to a special concert featuring violinist Paolo Tagliamento and guitarist Massimo Scattolin.

In a musical journey spanning the ages, from the genius of Niccolò Paganini to the evocative melodies of Ennio Morricone, the duo will guide the audience through unforgettable pages of Italian tradition, with a program full of emotion and virtuosity.

Tagliamento, internationally recognised as one of the most talented violinists of his generation, will play a precious 1701 Pietro Rogeri violin known as the Milanollo, generously provided by the ProCanale Foundation in Milan. The instrument is further enhanced by Dogal strings, a piece of Venetian artisanal excellence passed down through generations.

Alongside him, Scattolin, a master of the classical guitar, will play a ‘lattice braced’ guitar built by luthier Enzo Guido and strung with Dogal Maestrale strings, a symbol of Italian quality and tradition.

The Australian tour of Tagliamento and Scattolin is made possible with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney and the Consulate of Italy in Brisbane.

Admission is free and open to the entire community. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Italian soundscapes and be carried away by a concert that promises an authentic experience and moments of great music.
