The traditional Christmas lunch, held at Cucina Galileo, was marked by great enthusiasm and attended by 60 people.
This event, blending sport, tradition and joy, provided an opportunity to mark the year’s end with members and friends of the club.
Among the attendees were the club’s sports president and vice president, Sam Noiosi, and directors Antonio Paragalli and Angelo Ruisi, whose contributions, along with all participants, ensured the day’s success.
Noiosi, Paragalli, and later the club’s general manager, Matteo Biviano, praised the association for its long-standing role in promoting sport at Club Marconi.
The event also welcomed the recent winners of the Asia and Oceania Bocce Championship, Giuseppe Rozzo and Silvio Bruzzese.
Adding to the lively atmosphere was music by the talented Michele Riviera, who delighted the crowd with spirited tarantellas that had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves.
Following an excellent lunch, a lucky door prize draw saw twenty bottles of wine awarded—ten for the women and ten for the men.
The dynamic women of the bocce committee hosted the event with great flair. Captain Ann Fioravanti, vice-captain Antonietta Ruscio and councillors Santa Bruzzese, Nella Chiandotto, and Lorenza Fontebasso led the celebrations.
After the cake cutting, they presented each participant with a panettone as a parting gift.
The celebration ended with smiles all around and a strong sense of community.
