Brescia had slightly more of the ball as both teams created eight chances on goal.

Ascoli scored their only goal of the game in the 15th minute as Marcello Falzerano’s shot from inside the box seemed to have taken a deflection that looped the ball over the goalkeeper.

The home team equalised with five minutes remaining through Gabriele Moncini, who got on the end of Dimitri Bisoli’s ball across goal to half volley into an empty net.
