Set to take place on September 19 at Caterina’s Cucina e Bar, in Melbourne’s CBD, the sixth edition of the event will be the biggest and best yet.

The evening will feature sporting legends who’ll share fascinating stories about their careers and about growing up Italian.

They’ll be interviewed by Michael Zappone, renowned sports broadcaster and one of the best in the biz!

Special guests include Italian professional footballer, Alessandro Diamanti, and Tom Petroro, general manager of Stride Sports Management.

Diamanti plays as a midfielder for Western United.

At a club level, he has previously played for Prato, Empoli, Fucecchio, Fiorentina, AlbinoLeffe, West Ham United, Brescia, Bologna, Guangzhou Evergrande, Watford, Atalanta, Palermo, Perugia and Livorno.

At an international level, he represented Italy at UEFA Euro 2012, winning a runners-up medal, and at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, winning a bronze medal.

Meanwhile, Petroro is a prominent AFL player-manager and has been in the game for last 13 years.

Well-connected and well-versed in all things sport, he has a wealth of knowledge to share with guests.

All of this will take place over antipasti and a two-course meal, followed by coffee and sweets.

There’ll also be a live auction on the night, with items signed by some of the biggest names in sport up for grabs.

This is always a sell-out event, so make sure you purchase your ticket before it’s too late!
