While the festive season is full of events, there’s one that is on the calendars of all young Italo-Australian professionals: the annual end of year Property Networking Event organised by the Australian-Italian Leaders of Tomorrow (ALTO).
Set to take place at Holding Redlich in Melbourne on Thursday, November 28, the event is the perfect place to meet new people and learn about the future planning and development of Melbourne as we cross over into a new decade.
The evening will commence with an address from The Hon. Richard Wynne, Minister of Multicultural Affairs, Housing and Planning.
This will be followed by an exciting panel discussion featuring experts in the property industry: Sam Tarascio, managing director of Salta Property; Ross Pelligra, chairman of Pelligra Group; and Fiona Slechten, town planner for Calibre Group.
Salta Property is one of the largest privately-owned companies in Australia and has been part of the city’s rapid evolution, from innovative industrial parks to high-density, inner-urban apartment precincts.
Founded by Sam Tarascio in 1972, the company touches on all areas of property, including residential, commercial, retail, industrial and hotels.
Having built the multi-faceted, multi-billion dollar business over the past 47 years, Tarascio will offer invaluable knowledge and insights into the industry.
Meanwhile, Pelligra Group boasts six decades of experience in the development and construction industry and is in its third generation as a family business.
Born into the legacy of Pelligra Group, Ross Pelligra was raised with a love of master building and a brain for acute business acumen.
Known for his innovative thinking ability and approach to solving problems, Pelligra will offer interesting ideas on the future of our city’s development.
Last but not least, Calibre is a diversified provider of engineering, consulting, project delivery, construction and asset management services to the resources and infrastructure markets in Australia and select international markets.
With over 20 years of experience in both metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria, Fiona Slechten will provide an interesting perspective on the property sector.
Following the panel discussion, guests can enjoy refreshments and delicious canapés from Brunetti, while soaking up the atmosphere on the stunning balcony of Holding Redlich.
ALTO’s last event for 2019 is sure to see you end the year in style.
