The event, which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, was a unique moment for members and friends of the association to meet and enjoy each other’s company.

The celebrations began with a warm welcome from the association’s president, Claudio Tolli, who welcomed everyone present and very quickly established a friendly atmosphere.

Once inside, participants were directed to their tables by committee members who made sure everyone felt comfortable. The highlight of the evening was the delicious four-course meal that was a true feast for the palate, with traditional Italian flavours in the foreground.

But the event was not limited to a tasty dinner, as the duo Max & 99 provided musical entertainment that got everyone on the dance floor.

The rhythm of the music infected those present, creating an atmosphere of joy and merriment. Tradition was respected this year with the customary raffle.

The main prize, a delicious ham, was won by the lucky Mr Silvio Georgas, who took home the special culinary delicacy and with it a real piece of Italy.

The president and committee of the Laziali Australia Association then thanked all those who participated in the friendship celebration.

“It was an unforgettable day in which unity, tradition and joy prevailed,” said Tolli.

In closing, a series of future events organised by the association was announced, including a trip to the cherry plantations to be held on November 19, and the Christmas lunch to be held on December 3.
