Three rubbish bins were placed in the middle of the road and set on fire, bank windows were smashed and ATMs were damaged.
There was also graffiti calling for the release jailed anarchists Alfredo Cospito and Anna Beniamino in several streets.
The police are investigating the matter and an anarchist blitz is being hypothesised.
A parked car was also set on fire and damaged by the flames.
