“Nothing changes for me after today,” the forward, who was born in Sydney, told Mediaset after briefly levelling the score at 2-2 following his entry as a substitute.
“I’ve had four matches on the bench with (coach Gian Piero) Gasperini and a few training sessions, but I’ve already learned a lot.
“He has won many games and developed many good players.
“I want to keep working and I hope to continue like this.
“It’s a beautiful moment,” he said about the goal.
“I felt a bit nervous, but I came on and I only focused on playing, [then came] a nice cross come from Wesley at the far post and I scored a beautiful goal.”
